She will also lead the existing team of four managers running the active global impact equity portfolios Positive Future. The group is seeing a growing demand from clients ranging from institutional investors to intermediaries for impact equity strategies and El Khoury will be helping to develop some of these solutions alongside existing fund management teams.
El Khoury, who will be based in London, will be reporting into the recently appointed head of global equities, Alex Stanic. She starts with the firm on 6th March 2023.
She will be also leveraging off the wealth of engagement and investment research using ESG and sustainable criteria which individual teams perform across the existing fixed income and equity Artemis fund ranges.
She joins from Columbia Threadneedle Investment, where she incepted and led the CT Sustainable Global Equity Income Strategy in May 2021 and remained lead manager up until her resignation.
She was also co-manager of the CT Sustainable Opportunities Global Equity and CT SDG Engagement Global Equity strategies.
El Khoury spent more than 12 years at BMO Global Asset Management, prior to CT’s acquisition of the business in November 2021.
