This year’s objective is to connect Moldovan companies with international markets, capital, partners and new business opportunities. Moldova Business Week will serve as a platform through which the Republic of Moldova presents its economic and investment offer to the international business community.
Eugeniu Osmochescu, Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Economic Development and Digitalization: “Moldova Business Week 2026 is an open invitation to investors, companies, exporters, development partners and business community representatives who want to gain a deeper understanding of the economic opportunities offered by the Republic of Moldova. We want this edition to bring to Chișinău as many participants as possible who are interested in investment, exports, partnerships and the role our country can play in European economic value chains. At a time when the Republic of Moldova is strengthening its European path, MBW is becoming an important platform for practical dialogue, connection and cooperation between the public sector, the private sector and international partners.”
The agenda is built around three main pillars:
European Economic Integration
The European Union is Moldova’s main trading partner. According to the National Bureau of Statistics, in 2025, EU Member States received 67.5% of Moldova’s exports and represented 54.1% of Moldova’s total imports. Discussions will focus on business competitiveness, market access, investment attraction and the development of regional value chains, highlighting how Moldova’s closer alignment with the European market can create new opportunities for local companies and foreign investors.
Investment in High-Growth Sectors
A second pillar will focus on investment opportunities in sectors with strong development potential, including energy, industry, financial services, construction, IT, agri-food, automotive, green energy, infrastructure, real estate, tourism and medical services. The agenda will highlight concrete projects, market trends and Moldova’s competitive advantages for companies interested in regional expansion.
Export of Services
The export of services is one of the most dynamic components of Moldova’s economy. Moldova Business Week 2026 will explore opportunities in IT, BPO, digital services, consulting, creative industries, tourism, education and medical services. A central focus of the discussions will be how local companies can access international markets more quickly, expand their client portfolios and build long-term international partnerships.
Over five days, participants will have access to thematic forums, B2B meetings, sectoral roundtables and study visits across the country’s regions.
